PLAY (People Living Active Year-round) Program to Begin
Posted on Monday December 31, 2012

The Town of Aberdeen, in partnership with First Health Community Health Services, will be offering a new program to Town employees called PLAY (People Living Active Year-round).

Being fit can be fun. First Health Community Health Services has developed a free program that will teach you how to PLAY and learn how to stay motivated. PLAY mixes physical activities like jumping rope, doing the Hula Hoop and playing catch with a Frisbee along with working out with resistance bands, some simple stretch exercises and cardiovascular activities. Plus, you will be able to keep the activity equipment given out to each person during each session.

PLAY will be held on Tuesdays at Public Works beginning on January 8, 2013 and continuing through February 12, 2013. Sessions will be held from 2:00 p.m.—3:30 p.m. and a healthy snack will be served during each session.

To sign up for this program, please contact Regina or Jamie.
